Dawit Zegeye Haile was born on 13th of February 1995 in Balle, Ethiopia. In 2013 he was the president of his school. Dawit has graduated from Addis Ababa University in Economics in 2017. Dawit also has, Higher Certificate in Leadership and Management skills Development. He has awarded and named Ambassador of Good Ethics by Vision Ethiopia Congress for Democracy Board of Directors for exemplary work in his community. Since September 2017, he has been attending his MA in Peace and Security Studies at Addis Ababa University Institute for Peace and Security Studies and since 2016; he has been attending his BA in Global Studies and International Relation at New Generation University in the evening program. Dawit can also speak many languages, Amharic, Affan-Oromio, English, Guragigna, Geez, and French. Dawit participated in the First Africa Sustainable development forum (ASDF), AU agenda 2063 youth summit, World hydropower congress forum, 22th and 23th Commemoration of Ruanda Genocide, Tana High Level Forum on Security in Africa and African conference on sustainable community (ACOSC). Dawit has been working as intergovernmental Liaison,Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA),In addition, Since July 2017, Dawit has been working as African Union Youth Advisory Board, with many responsibilities. And he is a candidates for the Youth Advisory Parliament of Amref International.
